Project Summary
Piece by Piece was commissioned by Linc Housing to enhance a series of benches at the Willowbrook location with vibrant Malibu tiles.
The project consisted of 14 panels, each measuring 2' x 3', made entirely of ceramic tiles. Each panel adds a colorful and artistic element to the benches, transforming them into functional pieces of art.
To engage the community, Piece by Piece also hosted workshops where local residents participated in creating elements for the mosaic panels. These hands-on workshops provided an opportunity for individuals to contribute to the project, fostering a sense of ownership and pride in the artwork. The collaborative effort enriched the community, making the mosaic benches a shared expression of creativity and connection.
