Project Summary
Piece by Piece recently partnered with Linc Housing to create mosaic artwork for Azure, a Homekey development in Anaheim. Once an interim housing site, Azure is now being transformed into 87 supportive housing apartments, along with two onsite manager’s units, for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
Residents at Azure will receive wraparound services to support their journey toward housing stability. This development is made possible through a partnership between Linc Housing and the City of Anaheim.
To help make Azure feel welcoming and reflective of community, Piece by Piece artists contributed vibrant mosaic installations, including a 4’9” by 8’ mural and four one-sided benches measuring 7’ x 1.5’ each. These artworks bring color, creativity, and a sense of belonging to the shared spaces where residents will gather, connect, and rebuild their lives.
